Art in the Loop to close 2017 season with reception and pop-up exhibit
Celebrate the end of the 2017 Art in the Loop Project: “Cue!” outdoor public art exhibition and performance series with the 2017 Art in the Loop Closing Reception & Pop-Up Exhibit. Artists and performers will speak about their projects, highlighting the impact of the project on their art practices. The reception will screen videos by filmmaker Cody Hunt, as well as a selection of videos from performance-based works. Objects and ephemera from the 2017 projects will be displayed, turning the Helzberg Auditorium into a gallery for the evening. The reception and pop-up exhibition will take place on Wednesday, November 1, from 6-8 p.m. at the Kansas City Public Library Central Library, 14 West 10th Street.
