Khyneesha Edwards (she/her) started as Art in the Loop Visual Art Director in 2025.
Edwards was selected as a 2023 Art in the Loop visual artist for her piece, ‘Black Boy Joy,’ which was featured at the Union Station streetcar stop to uplift the theme, Celebrate. In 2024, she designed the brand system for Art in the Loop’s Convivencia theme.
Edwards graduated from Stephens College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Communication and an emphasis in Graphic Design. She currently works as a full-time remote graphic designer and freelance graphic designer. She also works as a personal branding consultant for Resumes By Neesha, which she founded in 2015 during her senior year of college.
Edwards has been a member of AIGA Kansas City since 2019, serving as Associate of Mentorship, Director of Mentorship, Vice President of Operations, and President. She currently serves as the Chair of Education. During her time at AIGA Kansas City, Edwards has played a key role in growing the mentorship program by engaging distinct professionals from various creative backgrounds, enhancing the organization’s board and programming diversity by connecting with individuals from BIPOC communities and building relationships with local businesses and creative organizations by partnering on events.
